Workshop Programme

I’m a practising textile artist and educator with a strong track record in community teaching and adult facilitation. I run a variety of textile workshops from Modern Tapestry Weaving to Quilting, from my Studio in Lewisham, and across the UK.

My approach centres on learning through doing - supporting people to grow confidence with textile practices, develop creative expression, and connect with others.

Please see below for more information on any upcoming workshops. If you would like to hire me for events, including birthdays, baby showers and wedding celebrations please contact me!

13th July | Contemporary Tapestry Weaving Course

Location: Lewisham Arthouse, SE14 6PD. Date & Time: 13th July, 10am - 5pm. Cost: £80

Join me for a relaxed, day-long tapestry weaving workshop. Alongside learning essential tapestry techniques, you'll gain the foundational skills to confidently continue weaving at home - without the need for costly tools or materials. You will learn how to warp any kind of frame, from a simple photo frame to larger, custom-made structures.

This often-overlooked skill is crucial to sustaining a personal weaving practice and will empower you to build your own looms and experiment independently. You’ll explore texture, colour blending, and design using a range of yarns - building both practical knowledge and creative confidence.

Whether you're looking to learn something new, refresh your skills, or simply enjoy a creative day in a supportive setting, this workshop offers an informal, hands-on space to deepen your understanding of tapestry weaving.

5 Week Tapestry Weaving course

Location: Lewisham Arthouse, SE14 6PD Next Term Dates: 11th July - 8th August. Cost: £140 for 5 weeks or £30 per session.

Join me for a weekly tapestry weaving class on Friday afternoons from 2:30–5pm, open to both beginners and intermediate weavers. These new friendly and informal classes run in blocks of 5-weeks. It is sometimes possible to come on a drop-in basis but you need to contact me directly here to arrange this.

You'll receive plenty of support as you explore creative weaving techniques or work on your own projects alongside fellow artists and weavers. You'll be introduced to tapestry techniques such as colour blending and textural weaving, with the opportunity to experiment and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your technique, you can join for one 5 week block or keep coming back to build your skills at your own pace.
